The Balmoral on York is in a good location on the edge of the Launceston CBD snd just a short walk from the mall. Our room was a little dated but it was spacious, clean and had everything we needed - comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, Netflix and super fast WiFi. The continental breakfast included in our room rate was ok and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location and fine rooms, apple tv adapter and free wifi. Food supplied is not great, but plenty of nice places nearby to eat. Gym next door, decent views, comfortable bedding.

Loved this place. We stayed here in Feb 2017 and enjoyed each and every bit of it. The owner is a great guy and serves his customers to excellence. We loved the breakfast included and for just $7 extra you can enjoy fantastic cooked breakfast which I highly recommend.
