Historic mile stone. On one side it says K VIII meaning it's 8 miles east to Kingston, and on the other side it says N XV meaning it's 15 miles west to Napanee. Dated 1837. The road had a crushed rock surface to control mud, a first in Ontario. - Kingston Norman Rogers Airport gallérie photo
