It is hard to imagine more lovely place for a special meal than in the foothills of the Pyrenees! Add to that very superb scenic view a restaurant that provides its diners with the most select and freshest ingredients available, then a chef who has imagination and skill to create dishes that are authentically representing the region while providing the joy of stimulating every possible taste bud along with wine to suit each dish and there you have that lovely place in Biarritz---Arosta!
This is a family endeavor that welcomes you, makes you feel at home, and appreciated. They are attentive to your needs and are quick to help in English as needed. What I have experienced here is beyond expectation and more than I have had in South America, Australia, Great Britain, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, throughout the rest of Europe and yes, definitely better than the USA!

AROSTA is an excellent restaurant where fresh food is treated with respect. The chef creates fabulous local dishes that will statisfy all your senses. The menu is exciting as it changes while always having certain dishes available. The staff is friendly and you feel at home. You can take your time and enjoy great wine and conversation as your food arrives at a perfect pace. The setting is casual yet sophisticated with a fablous view.

Quiet on an overcast July day. Perfect for getting away from the beach crowd and seafood meals. Gazpacho x 3 was gorgeous and seasonal menu perfect! Friendly and unpretentious Basque service.
