Perfect place for a picnic, but during most warm days the park is crowded. You can take a swim as the water is clean. The park is really clean as well. There is not much to do for children as there are no entertainment for children near by.

I recommend buying a disposable grill, and barbecuing on one of the small pears during the evening. Or taking a jog along the water a warm summer evening.

There is a grocery store nearby and a lot of restaurants/bars in the area.
Parking can become a problem if you want to park near the water. But you can find underground parking near by.
