Cannot fault the hotel, a bit better than your regular "budget" hotel, and more character than a prmier/travel lodge. Highly recommended

This place could do with an bit of a refurb - dated carpet and fittings in bathroom broken. Bed was comfy enough but room was very small. Watch out if you prepaid breakfast it only gives you continental which was not very exiting - you can pay more for full Scottish but at £9 you would be as well getting it somewhere else.

Booked this hotel through late rooms for a one night stay in a twin room to attend a concert in Glasgow. Very reasonable rate, comfortable clean bed's and we had a spacious en suite bathroom with shower. Had a few drinks in the small bar, and the staff were very friendly. Fantastic central location. Exactly what I would expect from a 3 star establishment and would use again.

Friendly staff. Fantastic cooked breakfast at a small surcharge of £3; worth every penny. Comfortable and clean rooms and the hotel could not be closer to the station.

The hotel was well kept and pretty tidy.

The room was a bit dark and small, but it was fairly cheap so I will let if off for that.

I did find it difficult to find at first, When I arrived I knew my room had already been paid for as this was through work. But the receptionist insisted that it had not been paid, as it was late and I had been on the train all day I decided to pay on my personal card. when she checked to get me a receipt she found the receipt from the payment that my work had already sent through earlier that day. So the reception then had to refund me the money I had just paid. This whole situation would have been avoided if the receptionist had made the checks to begin with.

TL:DR not happy with the service from reception. Room is a bit dark and small.
