Great food at a good price, staff are nice and helpful. Nice atmosphere, it tends to be busy so booking would be highly recommended if you plan on going there

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and stood around awkwardly for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then we had to wait another five minutes before the bartender came to seat us. When we told her that we hadn't made a reservation (we had just gotten to Inverness that evening and were hungry and saw the place), she rather rudely told us that she might not have a table for us even though it was close to closing and half the place was empty. She did seat us though. However, we sat there for over 20 minutes with waiters passing us numerous times without any acknowledgement. We waited almost a half an hour when we decided to just get up and leave because no one even came over to take a drink order in that time. It was very upsetting.

Good variety to the menu. Clean. Staff pleasant and service was excellent. First time there but would go back.

Below average food. Below average service. Cool pub ambiance with cool outdoor seating. Come here for a drink, not dinner. So why give it an average score? It's right next door to the Holiday inn Express where I was staying. So it gets a star for convenience. If I drove here I would've taken a star off. Don't bother unless you're right nearby.

Cosy and intimate restaurant. Varied selections of meals on offer and quite tasty too...although speaking to some locals it can be a bit hit or miss at times...saying that I found it good. Good spaced out seating areas and staff are friendly. I ate here for 3 days and the meals were filling and tasty. In summer the beer garden area would be great to have a few drinks and soak up the sun as you chat away. I honestly can't knock the place and it was a wee change from eating in my normal hotel when I'm working away up north.
