Such a lovely pub. Traditional and delicious food served by very warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent range of beer and drinks. Totally recommend and will look forward to returning here

Excellent service, value and good real ale. Hone cooked food. Relaxed atmosphere with great background music tracks well worth a visit.
Good for families with small children.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room clean and tidy. However the lack of parking anywhere close means a trek to get there. Having returned late in the evening from an event I had a quick pint in their pub which was a lovely bar. However getting to my room the sound of some kind of generator / extractor outside made sleeping difficult, added to this the tiny window with no curtains or blinds meant from around 6am the room was pretty light as you'll see in the attached photo. This meant it was almost impossible to sleep. Also no password for WiFi and no way to contact anyone to complain once the pub had shut. Had the potential to be wonderful but actually feel very disappointed considering how much I paid. I feel for £100+ i should at least be able to get a good night's sleep.

It has been amazing!! The room was Fab, the staff looked after us really well and made the stay. The food and drink was fantastic! We did not know what we were going to get as we booked late on thursday for the weekend, but we will definitely book again. Great location for the docks, the shops and amazing bars. Really lovely and friendly part of Liverpool. An added bonus on bank holiday Monday the breakfast was served 9.30 till 12.00 perfect after a late night out in Liverpool.
