Amazing view from the upper floors. No WiFi in the rooms. Coffee at breakfast is horrible instant coffee. However it's cheap in comparison to the rest of hotels

Without the pool and bar staff I would of rated 2 stars.
I'm 19 years old and went on holiday with my mother about 2 weeks ago, my mum prior booked 2 separate beds with a sea view and a balcony because unfortunately we're smokers!
We arrived at the hotel where there are only 2 lifts to around 250 rooms, there are NO fridge facilities so if you are planning to hold food or drink in your room think again, no kettle facilities which was not necessary but inconvenient if you had not booked breakfast with your booking. Breakfast was the same food day after day with hardly any real choice, some food was barely warm and if you're thinking of ordering a packed lunch, don't do that either.
WiFi is also a huge issue, if you are running a business or need to be in connection in your room or have solid connection; this hotel is not for you. There is no connection in any of the bedrooms unless you sleep in reception and still you're not guaranteed a connection for more than 5 minutes, the only real place you can get solid reception for periods of more than 30 minutes is at the back of reception, forget having a drink and browsing after a long day!!
2 Reception staff were reasonably rude and dismissive, when we asked to move rooms she flat denied and took the approach of "you get what you're given". My mum contacted the holiday company who said it took 2 days to contact them in order for our room to come with a balcony and some sort of view instead of next doors offices.
We finally got a bedroom and then realised there were more facilities we could use, which they don't tell you about, an indoor pool, sauna, showers, and jacuzzi, they seem fairly irritated when people use these as it seems like more work, also, keep your eyes peeled in the showers after a nice sauna, you might find some crawly friends the size of your big toe!
Over all, the bar staff and facilities (once we found them) were of good standard, however the service in regards to guests was appalling, low communication with the outside world, low signal and WiFi connection, mildly cold breakfasts, rude sand partly lazy staff, hidden facilities, hygiene was not the best either.
It is a good budget hotel, a lads holiday or a short weekend away while you're out doing stuff most of the day is more appropriate, but a 10 day holiday nearly sends you itching to get home...
